Aldi Chevron TeePee Specialbuys Review

Garden Play With Aldi & Giveaway

TeePee Close Up

A few days ago I shared some of our plans for the summer – six weeks can be a long time to keep everyone entertained and as much as I love our days out, I also love our days spent at home. We’ve been in our little house just over four years now and the garden has slowly become our own. Each year we add a little more to it and when the warmer month comes round we invest in a few things to keep the boys entertained out there. This year Aldi have sent us a few of their Garden Play Specialbuys to try out. I can’t be the only person who goes to do a food shop at Aldi and spends the majority of the time there looking in the Specialbuys section!

First up is the Kid’s Chevron Teepee and it is just so cool, I love it and more importantly so do the boys. We’ve already had it up in the house and the garden and it is a proper little hideaway den for them. They dragged in teddies, books and snacks and I even managed to squeeze in at one point, it’s surprisingly roomy inside! It’s easy enough to assemble once you get the hang of it – I think I could do it on my own now and I love that it has a base attached. The canvas material is a lovely quality as well as feeling quite hard wearing and I love the grey chevron pattern. One of the things I like the most though it that it doesn’t take up much storage space once folded down. We’ve made dens before but I think this is so much more fun for them and it’s easy to move around. I would definitely recommend it and I think it’s a very reasonable price at £39.99 compared to others I have seen.

As well as trying out the TeePee Lucas (and Dad) have also been trying out this amazing Football Goal with targets. When it first arrived it had a lot of parts to it and thought it would be tricky to put together but it was actually fine and it looks so impressive when it is all assembled. Lucas and my husband quickly got out with the football to give it a go and a lot of fun was had – it didn’t take long for Lucas to resort to throwing the ball through the targets. It would be a great game to get out if you have a few children round but we had fun playing a few games as a family. It’s weatherproof so you can leave it outside and it’s fairly lightweight if you want to move it around. I was really surprised with just how good this was, it would be perfect if you have a keen footballer in the family and it’s priced at £29.99.
