Living Arrows 24

I love how many garden photos we are able to get now that summer is here. This one was taken in my Nana’s garden and I love the way they are all in action. I am so happy that they boys are growing up getting to know my Nana, my aunties and uncles as well as their own Grandparents, it is quite a comforting feeling. We have quite a big family but we are very close, very friendly and still love to get together and spend time with one another. Having children seems to make this even more essential as they get to know the family that isn’t on our doorstep. Days at my Nana’s house are always so important to me, to just go and spend the day with family, switch off a little and have extra pairs of hands to chase after little legs. It was such a massive part of my childhood and I’m glad that we are able to make it part of our children’s too.

I love that photo, they obviously love your Nanas garden quite a lot and look like they’re having a lot of fun. I have a big family too and I love that z knows them all so well.

Oh I love spending time with our Grandparents too, it’s so lovely for our children to grow up with their family around them. A little circle of trust and happiness. Lovely photograph xx #LivingArrows

So true Emma, it is somewhere for them to feel truly relaxed I think (and me too!) xx

One thing that I dream about is for my son to meet his grandparents and my relatives. We have lots in the Philippines! We only have each other here which can be very very lonely.

Ah I hope that he gets to meet them one day, it can be hard when they are so far away but family is definitely what you make it!

It’s lovely that you have so much family around. I don’t have much family at all, and neither does Hubby – these family days are definitely something to treasure x

I do think that family is what you make it – I’m lucky that we all are close but we would be just as happy if it was just us, it is just nice to have each other! xx

Great action shot of them all playing. It’s lovely that you’ve got a big family so close. We’re the same – although my family’s small (really only my brother, but he lives 2 miles away at the moment), the OH’s family is large, and all live within a couple of miles too, so N loves being with his cousins, and his aunts/uncles

It is nice to have family around when they are young, I think they like to grow up having big family get togethers!
