Another week has passed and Living Arrows is here (a little later than planned). The time seems to be getting away from me at the moment; I don’t know what is keeping me away from the computer, maybe it’s the sunshine or just this hectic time of year but it’s getting harder and harder to sit at the desk on focus on the screen.

The summer holidays are close and I feel like I’ve caught euphoria at the thought of six week with my little family all together. It’s almost like when I was at school and those last few weeks before the break everyone had switched off, all we did was watch videos and play rounders outside. I feel exactly the same way now; my brain has switched off a little and I daydream of the things we can do with the time off. We don’t really go on holiday so this big break is our chance to unwind. We will have a few adventures but I’m looking forward to doing some of the normal things when we have Daddy around to enjoy it too.

This weeks photo is one of Boo in the sandpit which is where they all spend most of their time when the sun is shining. I would never have guessed that a £15 sandpit could make them so happy and I know it will be plenty used this summer. Every now and again Boo has a day when he decides not to nap at his regular time and I’m sure this is just to have everything all to himself.

Gosh, I can’t wait for the time off either and I’ve definitely switched off for the summer. Do you think anyone would notice if we started the holidays today??? I can’t wait until Friday! xxx

The most inexpensive things always hold their attention the longest! Never those expensive things you buy for them haha. Excited for your summer holiday! I’d be so sad with 6 weeks, though! We get 10!

I really envy your summer together. For me the summer is the countdown to a whole new routine for us, one where we’ll only get 2 family days every 3 months together. Something has to give I just don’t know what at the moment. I love that sandpit – it really is one of the simplest things but I am sure all three boys will remember it into adulthood x
