We have just a few days to go until we visit Geronimo Festival at Tatton Park. This will be our first time there and our first time at a family festival! Every time I see a new update we get even more excited and I’ve started showing Lucas the website now and planning what we want to see on the day. I read so many great things about the festival at Tatton Park last year, it sounded like a great family day out and it looks likely that this year will be just the same.
There is so much going on I know we won’t see everything so we’ve made a list of our ‘must-see’ attractions and events. Everytime I check the website there is something new added so I hope to see a lot more but these are the things we definitely want to check out.
Andy Day
This was always going to be first on the list! As soon as I saw he would be there I knew that we’d have to go and watch him. He’s performing on the Geronostage twice a day and as we watch Andy’s Dinosaur Adventure most days this is a definite must-see.
Den building
I think all the outdoorsy activites will be a big hit with my boys and den building is something we haven’t actually done before. We always see them in woods and they are fascinated – learning to make them themselves will be great fun.
Petting Farm
I think this one will be great for the twins who love animals, especially if there are lambs and chicks. I like that there are so many activities I can see them enjoying even at 2 1/2, things to learn and enjoy.
Festival Circus
I’m excited about all the circus events going on – I know there is a few on the day and some circus skills too so we’ll hopefully be able to check them all out but the Festival Circus is one I definitely want us to get to. Another thing that we’ve never done with the boys and great that we get to do so much on the one day.
Berkley Owls
There is a lot happening in the Arena zone over the two days; I do want the catch the jousting but I think this would be the one we’d most want to see, especially my husband who loves birds of prey.
Junk Orchestra
This is a pop up musical installation and I think this will be favourite with the boys who love the chance to make a lot of noise wherever they go. This looks like a lot of fun.
VIP Puppets
These look amazing! They are giant puppets controlled by a handful of people that walk around in amongst people. I am so looking forward to seeing Dolly the giraffe.
You can see the full list of ‘What’s On‘ on the website and there are a few tickets left for Monday!
