You’ll already know from reading this blog that I love a good book. This last year I’ve made the time to read again and it’s reminded me how much I love books being a part of my life. Along with that comes little obsessions for all things bookish. I’ve recently treated myself to some book themed prints and candles and came across a whole world of literary loveliness. I usually head to Etsy for things like this as they have a tendency to produce geekier gifts which I always like. You must check out Fable and Black – I would easily buy up their whole their shop and Bookwormcandlescraft who I bought some cute book themed candles from.
I found so much I loved that I had to share some of them – if you’re looking for a treat for a booklover then you must check some of these out.
A few of my favourites from here – the book sleeve! I had no idea this was even a thing but it makes total sense. It’s a little pouch to put your book in when you’re carrying it around in your bag, it stops the pages from getting damaged and looks really cute too. I spotted the Blind Book Date and had to include it – I’ve seen this online somewhere before but had no idea you could get them on Etsy. It’s basically a surprise pre-loved book, you put down a genre you want to try and they send you out a random book, as well as your choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. I love this idea! Lastly, I spent way too long searching for enamel pin badges after reading Morgana’s post over on Coffee Work Sleep Repeat about her love of them, she shared a great book one and I started looking for some more. It’s hard to pick out a favourite but this one sums me up perfectly – ‘Drink Tea and Read Books’.
I love everything about the Little Women quote at the top; it says, ‘I’m not afraid of storms for I am learning to sail my ship’. I think this will be my next buy for our picture ledges, we have a few book quotes up there already but I like to refresh it. I am also in desperately want the book washi tape, it would be perfect for my bullet journal. I thought it is also be a great way to decorate parcels if you’re passing books on. I’ve only just realised that book themed candles are a thing – I ordered some of the Court of Mist & Fury ones (update, they’ve arrived and are beautiful – see picture below) but I also love the look of the jar ones from The Candle Codex. I popped the second hand books scented one on here because who doesn’t love the smell of books?! They also had a Great Hall, Harry Potter one and a Smaug one!
Sometimes you just have to embrace your inner geek and buy book themed candles! These coming through my door have made my Saturday so much brighter they are from @bookwormcandles and they’re perfect! I’ve shared these and some more of my favourite Etsy treats for book lovers over on the blog, I could buy them all!!
Any of these catch your eye? What do you love to shop for on Etsy?
