Brandon At Four Months

May 1, 2014

BrandonBrandon is so full of character and personality. When he smiles it is a massive grin and he looks like he is silently laughing. He wriggles around when he smiles and kicks his little legs in excitement. He loves to look at Lucas and always smiles when he is near him, he isn’t too sure about the loud noises he makes though and more than once we’ve had tears if he’s had a fright. He is a cuddly little guy and loves nothing more than having cuddles from me, he loves to have his Mummy close and isn’t too sure about me leaving the room when quite obviously I should be talking to him!

At four months he is 12lbs15oz, he has two little bottom front teeth very nearly through the gums. He will through his legs in the air and roll over onto his side…then roll straight back again. He will sit in the Bumbo but isn’t too keen on it, he’s more for the bouncy chair, even though he has a habit of throwing his head forward in a bid to sit up. Such a lover of bathtime and sits in his little seat relaxing and looking at the brightly coloured bath toys. When he is happy he is so happy but then when he is sad we really know about it!

I love so much about this age but with Brandon it can be tough, he just that little bit more in need of cuddles. He has started to get quite bad eczema on his chest and his cradle cap is sticking around; just like his older brother Lucas, so we’ve been though it all before but it’s horrible to see them irritated by it. He’s trying his hardest to laugh but we usually just get a cute little gurgle instead.

My favourite part of the day with Brandon is the afternoon chatter; he always, always, wakes up first from naps and I have to grab him quick before he wakes Arthur. I bring him downstairs and sit with him on the playmat for some play and singing. He is usually in need of that little bit of attention all to himself. Such a sensitive soul, my lovely Brandon.

Aww both these boys are absolutely adorable! The pictures are so cute. I can’t believe this time last year Charlie was the same age and I was on maternity leave. It all went so fast and now he is a little stroppy 14 month old. I miss those early days 🙁 xx
