In July 2013 I had a 12 week scan for my second pregnancy; excited to be adding a new baby to our family I hadn’t even considered the possibility that it was anything other than a singleton pregnancy. Not long into the scan we had the incredible, and slightly scary news, that we were expecting identical twins. It was a long and tiring pregnancy with a toddler to look after as well but relativity problem free and our twin boys, Boo & Bear, arrived safely by c-section two days after Christmas. I blogged all the way through the pregnancy and as my boys grow I learn more and more about the fun (and the mayhem) of raising twins. I was so anxious when I found out I was pregnant with twins but the reality is nowhere near as difficult as I had imagined in my head. You can do it because you have to, I’m not sure it ever gets any easier but I am sure that it brings so much love and laughter.
Here are some of my most popular posts about our twin journey and links to some of my blogging friends who also write about twins. If you are looking for some advice, reassurance, or just to have a nosy at how other people do it please do have a read.

If you are looking for more information about multiple births, twin pregnancy or identical twins I would recommend checking TAMBA and I personally found some great reassurance reading articles on BabyCentre.
Some of my favourite twin bloggers are well worth a read too, by no means a definitive list but a good place to start. I also blogged about some of my favourites so check it out if you are looking for twin blogs; Twin Blog Love.

Hi Hayley, had a great day yesterday at #blogonmosi. Thanks for the follow on twitter. I’ve sent a link to your blog to my friend Lara who is a first time mum to 18 year old twins, so I’m sure you will be able to hold her hand a bit with your blog posts?

May 7, 2014 at 8:58 pmJust found your blog from pintrest. I have twins, boy and girl. They were born 2 days after Christmas last year. A year toner than yours! Congrats and you areally so right. It’s such a fun thing to have twins. I have 6 older kids, 2 of which I gave birth to and they prepared me for this adventure. Each day they bring a huge smile to my heart, even the days I want to pull my hair out aren’t really that bad when you see those smiles!
