A little boy has been busy on some snowy adventures this week; for the first time in his sixteen month life he has experienced snow! What fun we have had; making footprints and snowmen, sledging and sliding, chuckling and chattering.
When the snow first arrived we looked out the door in wonder. Unfortunately, our pyjamas were not appropriate for the snow but in the time we had dressed a good covering had settled. Wrapped up warm we headed out to stomp through it and chase each others footprints.
While the boys stayed warm inside, Mummy braved the cold to build a snowman. It was a little more difficult than Mummy anticipated so she compromised and built a snowman head to balance on top of the chimenea. Daddy was a little unsure about the snowman.
Once the white stuff had stopped falling we headed out for a very brief sledge, early in the morning before the slopes filled up. Lucas wasn’t too sure but Mummy had fun whizzing down the hill. As the snow started to fall again we were safely indoors, getting warm with some hot chocolate.
As the thaw begins we are able to walk/slide around the park, have a quack at the ducks and geese, and have a good giggle at flying pigeons, obviously!

I’ve never seen such a well dressed snowman before and Lucas is so cute in his little hat 🙂 (Popping over from Country Kids)
