I love this week’s Living Arrows photos, it captured Lucas in that moment so perfectly. All summer we have been planning a trip into Liverpool to go on the Mersey Ferry but we had to keep putting it off for one reason or another. One of the things he wanted to do at the start of summer when we made a bucket list was to go on a boat, it really is so easy to please a three year old when everything is such a grand adventure.
Finally we just decided to go for it and luckily it was a glorious day, we had so much fun on the Ferry and in the Liverpool Museum. We walked back through the Albert Dock and stopped to look at the boats and ships, all the boys were quite content to spend a day wandering around boat-spotting
I took this photo on the walk to the Ferry, Lucas had stopped to rest his hat on a bollard and was chuckling away. It was just great chance he had stopped in front of the Liver Building and the sun was shining. He was in such a great mood all day and was so excited to be going on a boat. The pierhead always looks stunning in the sun and I love that my boys are making childhood memories in this city where I have so many good memories.
